There are indeed some issues with some of the voices due to recent changes in browser voices or deprecated voices. If a voice is available in the OS / the browser it will still work if not speechconverter.ai finds and delivers the next best alternative.

Therefore, there are some options for you to try before contacting us.

• Firstly, please checkout latest updates on the topic Deprecated Voices
• Try to upgrade your current browser to the latest stable version, then use again the service on speechconverter.ai to make sure it work well again.
• Try to use on different browsers. For example if you have issues with Chrome, please try to use Edge (based on Chromium) or Firefox and vice versa.
• Try our new feature speech synthesis reader (a solution totally based on your browsers' TTS without enhancements).
• If it doesn't work for you, please contact us with some details information about your OS (operating system) & browser version

The service basically is free to use for your personal purposes.

• You can also consider to create an account and subscribe to a paid package with premium voices & features, e.g long speeches saving, SSML support,...

We currently use Paypal to process payments in case you want to subscribe to a higher package.

If Paypal doesn't support your credit cards, we are very sorry that we can not help you to process further.

We frequently add new features & fixes to the site. If something doesn't work as it should be, please try to clean your browser cache or refresh your browser (e.g Ctrl + F5 on Edge or Chrome on Desktop) before contacting us.

In order to prevent service abuse as well as some recent change in our TTS provider (*), there are some limitations on Guest users. Please register an account & login to get more quota, or subscribe to a paid package.

(*)We used to use a SpeechConverter & gave the text reader service to our users (including Guest users) freely for years. And then they were asking more & more money, requiring us to buy more & more licenses, giving many constraints, many limitations that we could find nowhere in their pricing page.

(*)Therefore, we found no choice but have to remove their service usage completely and develop & use a custom SpeechConverter that will be available for registered users and Guest users with limitations. If you prefer a guest service without any limitation, please use our new feature speech synthesis reader as mentioned above.
